Error Nuker Review: Error Nuker is a Spyware! Don't Purchase It

Error Nuker-Click For Free Download!

Our rating: 3/10

Just like any other registry cleaner, Error Nuker by Trek Blue software promises to fix all your Windows registry worries in a snap! It promises to remove all unused and obsolete entries from your registry and much more! However, all that glitters is not always gold. I recently downloaded Error Nuker and I won't hesitate to say that my experience with this software was far from satisfactory. It is not as bad as RegCure, but is not very good either. Most of the 'reviews' about this software that you would find online are written by the company's affiliates, and naturally, they are far from honest. However, in this article I will show you both the positive as well as the negative side of Error Nuker so you can make a decision for yourself.

The only pros of this software are: you can schedule automatic scans, and that you can update the software automatically and easily. The cons of this software far outweigh its pros. Now, I will tell you about the negative side of the software:

1. First impression - System Crash: My very first impression with Error Nuker was not good at all! Just like any other registry cleaner, it would scan your registry for free and then ask for payment before completing the process. But that is not the reason why I don't like it. I paid for it, registered the full version and then ran my first scan and deleted the invalid registry entries with the help of the software. Being a complete computer newbie, I don't know the difference between a valid and an invalid registry entry, so I rely on external software programs to help me in regards to computer maintain ace. I rebooted my PC after the scan was completed. And then, at startup, my computer gave a message like 'Windows has recovered from a serious error', and a crash log file was generated. I was panicked, but there was more to come!

2. Error messages: I next rebooted my computer to see if that solves the problem. Actually, that made the problem worse. I began getting error messages like 'illegal operation' and that of missing DLL files. To top it all, SpyBot gave me a red flag, asking me to remove Error Nuker from startup. For a moment, I wondered whether I had installed a registry cleaner or a malware! In panic, I ran Spybot.

3. Spybot continued to classify the Error Nuker software as a spyware that needs to be removed. Spybot went so crazy with Error Nuker that ultimately I had to remove it and ask for a refund.

4. Other problems; Trek Blue's customer support totally sucks! I hope they have improved their support quality by now, but at the time when I purchased it, I received virtually zero support from them; there was also no live chat support available! Moreover, the software is certainly not very user-friendly and so, newbies would find it difficult to use.

Later I came to know that Trek Blue software, the makers of Error Nuker, had a dubious history and that their Spyware Nuker was practically a rip-off of Spybot database. I guess that is another reason why no one should conduct any business with this company.

After that, I had to reinstall Windows XP. My computer technician suggested that I use Registry Fix instead. I found it to be much better than Error Nuker.
