RegSweep Review: RegSweep A Scam? Don't Buy RegSweep Unless You Read Our Honest Review

Our rating: 7/10
RegSweep is the latest software to join the crowd of registry cleaners. Compared to some of the other registry cleaners I have tried, RegSweep claims to remove all the invalid registry entries from my system in just two minutes flat! That is a very bold claim and it is a quick scan time compared to some of the other registry cleaners I have used so far. I downloaded and installed the software just to see whether RegSweep really lives up to its hype.
And here is my honest review:
1. Totally Simple Interface: I must say that RegSweep has been created keeping the average computer user in mind. You don't need to know what an invalid registry entry or a DLL file is. All you need to do is to download the free scanner by clicking the link below and it will instantly give you a list of invalid registry entries and DLL files which need to be cleaned.
As such I believe that even the most technically challenged PC user can use RegSweep without any trouble. As a bonus, you also get a diagnostics tool to help speed up your PC performance.
Once you download and install the free scanner you will be presented with the default tab of RegSweep. From here, you can scan and backup your registry; you can also use the Settings tab to further customize the software to your needs and requirements. Once your run the free scanner, RegSweep will instantly come up with a list of invalid registry entries which are required to be removed. You get to choose which entries to remove and which ones to keep, which I believe is another must have feature.
Here is a screenshot of the 'Scan' tab of RegSweep. With one click, you can decide whether to scan your whole Windows operating system or not. You can also create custom scans specifying which dlls, entries, shortcuts or keys to scan.

Here you can choose whether you want RegSweep to scan your registry at startup or not:

Here you can access the backup feature of RegSweep; use it to restore your registry to what it was before the scan

2. Fast Scan: I have used many different registry cleaners in the past and some have taken as much as 25 minutes to clean and repair my registry. This is why I decide to test out the scan time taken by RegSweep. I set a timer and then launched the scanner. Quite surprisingly, by the time it had scanned and removed all my invalid registry entries, I saw that the total scan time was a little more than 1 minute.
3. Displays In-Depth Results: One cool feature of RegSweep is that it not only lists all the invalid registry entries, it also lists the amount of errors contained in each entry, so that you get to decide whether a particular registry entry is worth deleting or not. I would recommend that you delete all the invalid registry entries found by RegSweep, but if you are an advanced computer user, you can pick and choose which entries to delete and which ones to keep.
Are you afraid that you will delete a valid registry entry by mistake? Don't worry, because RegSweep comes with an in-built 'Backup and Restore' feature which you can use anytime to restore your old settings.
4. Manage Startup: Another great and unique feature I found in RegSweep is its 'Manage Startup' tab. I don't know about you, but I had a lot of useless programs loading at startup and this was negatively affecting the performance of my PC. I didn't have any idea how to remove those startup programs. Fortunately, with the 'Manage Startup' tool of RegSweep, all I needed to do is to tell the software about the programs that I don't want to load at startup. Since I started using that option, the performance of my PC has boosted to a great extent.
To conclude, RegSweep is not just a registry cleaner, it is a must have tool for any PC user. It can not only scan and repair your registry in record time, it can also help you manage your startup programs so that you are able to increase the overall speed and performance level of your PC. I recommend this tool to both newbie and advanced users alike. We recommend you download this free scanner and scan your system for registry errors before you purchase RegSweep. |
